Fast Facts:
Grooming is an important part of your dog’s overall heath. While pampering your fur baby our stylists will spot check for fleas, ticks, lumps, and bumps and will notify you of any skin issues or possible infections.

It is important not to let your dog get matted. Matting can cause skin irritation and can be very uncomfortable for your dog. Removing matting whether brushing or shaving is an unpleasant experience, regular grooming can help prevent this.

A clean and well brushed dog stays warmer in cold weather and cooler in warm weather. The coat acts as insulation trapping in the dog’s body heat when its cold and shielding the dog’s skin from the sun when it’s hot.

Trimming of your dog's nails is very important for their health. Untrimmed and overgrown nails can cause pain and a variety of problems such as torn off or broken nails or nails that curl around and grow into their toe pads. It is important to exam your dog's nails regularly.

Get your new puppy off to a great start!
It's very important to teach your puppy to enjoy being handled and examined. Daily handling and examination exercises should start as soon as you bring your new puppy home. Gentle handling of their ears, paws, muzzle, neck and rear end while hand feeding kibble or treats will teach your puppy to enjoy and feel at ease when being touched. This will make your puppy's visits to their Veterinarian and Groomer much less stressful.
We recommend you book your puppy’s first grooming appointment soon after they have received their second set of puppy vaccines.
